# Knowledge

The **Knowledge** page holds document folders that agents can search while they work. Put reference material there — specifications, guidelines, past results — and agents find the relevant passages instead of you pasting them into every Task.

## Folders

Sidebar → **Knowledge**. The page lists the Workspace's folders; **Search folders...** filters them and **Refresh** reloads the list.

### Creating a Folder

1. Press **New Folder**
2. Enter a **Name** (for example "SAP Documentation") and an optional **Description**
3. Optionally choose **Assign to Project** and **Assign to Agent**
4. **Save**

### Who Can Read a Folder

An agent can search:

- Folders assigned to **that agent** (its personal memory)
- Folders assigned to **no one** — available Workspace-wide
- Folders assigned to the **Project** of the Task it is working on

Select a folder to see **Folder Details** (**Project:**, **Agent:**). Change them with the assignment fields and **Save assignments**.

## Documents

Select a folder, then **Upload Document** to add a file. Each document can be removed with **Delete document**, and **Delete folder** removes the folder with everything in it.

Search is semantic when the instance has an embeddings key configured; without one, agents find documents by keyword matching instead.

## Giving a Run a Folder

On a Task's reply box, **Knowledge** chooses folders to give that Run. Agents can also save to their own folders as they work — see [Agents](/documentation/agents), *Agent Knowledge & Memory* — and a Task can save its result into the agent's knowledge automatically (**Save to knowledge**).

## Good to Know

- **Viewer** members can read folders but not change them.
- An administrator can hide the **Knowledge** page for everyone in Global Settings → **Feature Flags**.
